Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa 2026: Add Some Chaos to Your Honolulu Saturday
Honolulu is about to get loud. On Saturday, September 19, the 72nd Annual Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa takes over Kalākaua Avenue—and if you want your day to hit harder than the usual beach-and-dinner routine, build in a separate stop at Break’N Anger.
The official Aloha Festivals event page lists the street festival from 6–10 p.m., with vendors opening at 4 p.m. Expect local food, Hawaiʻi-made crafts, hula and live entertainment across multiple stages. The Hoʻolauleʻa is its own event; Break’N Anger is not affiliated with or sponsoring it.
A Honolulu Saturday with two completely different energies
Waikīkī Hoʻolauleʻa brings culture, music, food and a massive crowd to Kalākaua Avenue. Break’N Anger brings controlled chaos in a private room. Put them together—on your own schedule—and you get a Saturday that feels nothing like another copy-and-paste night out.
Start earlier in Kakaʻako, where Break’N Anger is located, then head into Waikīkī for the evening festival. Or save the smashing and paint for another day if you want more breathing room. Event traffic and crowds can change travel time, so leave a real buffer and reserve each part of your plan separately.
